Your data, in plain language

Contact form — the details you choose to send: name, email, company, budget, timeline and your message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Newsletter — your email address, used only to send the newsletter you asked for.

Site analytics — anonymized, aggregated traffic data (pages, devices, referrers). We don't track you across the web, and we don't sell data to anyone.

Every piece of data we hold exists because you gave it to us for a specific purpose: to reply, to send the email you signed up for, or to understand how the site performs. We don't collect anything 'just in case'.

Form and newsletter submissions are delivered by email via Resend, our email provider. This site is hosted on Cloudflare's global network, and analytics run through privacy-conscious providers. We don't run third-party ad trackers.

We use only essential cookies (or none where we can avoid them) to keep the site working. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser without anything breaking.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — at any time, with no lecture and no forms. Email hello@layoutory.com and it's done.

Under GDPR we process data on the lawful basis of consent and legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you send us). Under CCPA/CPRA, we don't sell or share personal information — there's nothing to opt out of.

Enquiries are kept only as long as they're useful to the conversation, and deleted when you ask or when they're clearly stale. Newsletter data is deleted the moment you unsubscribe.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with the date. We won't email you about it — nothing we collect is used for that kind of thing anyway.
